Double champions Rangers FC will lock horns with knock-out runners up TK Snookers  in  Serrekunda East Super Cup final set for Friday, July 31, at the Serrekunda East mini-stadium.

The Super Cup final, which will serve as the curtain raiser for the proper nawettan competition, comes after the completion of the qualifier rounds that saw over forty teams battling for only four available spots. Friday's final will pave the way for the start of the normal championship which starts on Saturday, August 1, with 24 teams taking part.

The 24 sides include three new faces that earned promotion after impressing at the qualifier stages. SV Laar, Canon and BB Rovers all had to fetch five consecutive wins before confirming their place in the proper competition. Zurich were the only relegated sides that survived the qualifiers, which  involved 44 teams within one of the biggest nawettan zones.
