More institutions and individuals continue to congratulate the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, following his landslide victory in the November 24, 2011 Presidential Election.

The latest messages read:

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and staff of Skye Bank (Gambia) Limited, as well as Skye Bank Plc Group, I write to congratulate Your Excellency on your well-deserved and, of course, anticipated victory at the presidential elections of November 24, 2011.

Your Excellency, the victory did not come to us as a surprise having seen your pedigree of performance, economic transformation and immense goodwill with all citizens, residents and friends of The Gambia. We pray that Almighty Allah will continue to grant you the wisdom, good health and the grace to continue to lead us all to becoming an economic and development power-house as envisaged Your Excellency.

Permit us, Sir, to extend our felicitations, through you, to the First Family and the entire Cabinet on this renewed mandate of service.

…………......

May I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the God given victory in this year’s election. On this occasion of the peaceful re-elections as president of the Republic of The Gambia, I have the pleasure to wish you my warmest congratulations. In the same vein, please accept my best wishes of good health and success. I pray for God’s divine guidance and protection over you and your entire family.

Also Your Excellency, please permit me to write this letter to seek for financial assistance in your reputable office. I am the first child in my family paying our house rent because my father is old. The landlord wants to give us notice because of some arrears.

Sir, I am really desperate and therefore seek for kind assistance.

…………......

On the occasion of the just concluded presidential election held on the 24th November 2011 which you deservedly won with a resounding majority in an election globally accepted and acclaimed by both national and international observers to be the most freely and fairly contested race in the history of Gambian politics, the Sayerr Jobe Foundation, under the stewardship of Alkali Sidi Jobe with the support of the Serrekunda elders, wish to join well-meaning and development oriented Gambians at home and abroad in congratulating you for this feat.

We also pray that the peace and stability, for which the Gambia is globally known for and which you so cherish and jealously guard, remain the bedrock and attributes of this great nation. Finally, we wish to renew our support and allegiance to you and your government in your march towards realizing the goals and objectives set for yourself.
