Batch Samba Gaye aka Smokey or Smoke Doctor, is another Gambian promising rapper currently based in Canada.

The star hailed from Serekunda, but went to Canada shortly after his high school education at Saint, to study at the University of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. According to Gambian talents based in the US, he later moved to Toronto, where he started hitting freestyle sessions in downtown Toronto, and hooked up with some Toronto rappers to start a cliq called the five pointaz. They made a couple of songs together.

He later opened his own record label called down home records. Back home in The Gambia, he has setup a network called La Costra Nostra, with some Gambian rappers and has released a compilation called 'Get Familiar Vol1' which has done fairly on the streets.
