Tuesday, March 03, 2009
The Sopeh City Limit Radio, under the leadership of the City Limits director, Babucarr Cham, last Saturday donated second hand clothes, soaps, food items and a handsome amount of money  to  Campama, at a presentation ceremony held at Campama grounds in Banjul.

Speaking at the ceremony, Wally Cham, secretary general of the fans club, said the donation is as a result of the sympathy they have for the people in Campama.  He thanked all the fans club members who contributed to the gesture.  For his part, Babucarr Cham, the director of City Limits Radio,  said the assistance to  Campama is just to extend their sympathy to the patients. He used the occasion to thank the staff of Campama for their humanitarian service, noting that only God can reward them. He assured them of the fans club's continued support.

Receiving the items, Momodou Ann, the person in charge of Campama, thanked Sopeh City Limits, describing them as people who have concern for their sons and daughters at the place. Ann cited the risk attached to their work but said it is all geared towards serving humanity and the country.  He urged those whose relatives are there, to visit them regularly and called for others to emulate the gesture of Sopeh City Limits. Oustaz Muhammed Lamin Khan described the staff of Campama as hardworking. Other speakers included Aunty Haddy Njie, Musa Njie and Alhagie Tunkara, all of the City Limits Fans Club.
