The Social Security Housing and Finance Corporation (SSHFC) Monday presented a cheque of D100,000 to the National Organising Committee of the forthcoming National Wrestling Championship scheduled for 29th June to 1st July at the Serekunda West Mini- Stadium.

The cheque was received by the Secretary of the National Organising Committee Abdul Aziz Titao Mendy, who also doubles as the Development officer National Sports Council. It would be recalled that the Taiwanese Embassy in The Gambia also donated a cash amount of D10,000 towards the event.
