The state has withdrawn criminal charges against one Ebrima Bah.

Ebrima Bah was among the 18 accused persons arraigned before Magistrate F. Forster of the Brikama Magistrates Court on criminal charges of official corruption, and procuring the execution of a document by false pretence, among others.

When the case was mentioned on Monday, August 3rd, 2009, the principal state counsel, MB Abubacarr made an application for the discontinuation of the charges against the accused person, pursuant to Section 68 of the Criminal Procedure Code and urged the court to grant the application.

The presiding magistrate granted the application.
