A minor fire outbreak yesterday afternoon, erupted from a vehicle along the Sedat Jobe Avenue, Fajara.

The vehicle, a Peugeot 505 Saloon, was reported to have been packed under one Kazeem Ebrima's building for quite a long time. Our reporter who rushed to the scene indicated that the fire started approximately 15: 00 hours. Kazeem Ibrahim, the owner of the building where the vehicle was packed told reporters that the car had been packed for a long time near his building. He said that some children in the streets often came around to play in the car.

The source of the fire outbreak is not yet establish but Ibrahim thanked Allah that the outbreak did not occur when children were playing around the vehicle. Information gathered further indicated that the Fajara Fire Brigade responded immediately and were at  the scene just in time to put off the fire. However there was no casualty reported.
