The Steps Faith Mission, located along the Sayerr Jobe Avenue, is currently preparing for a fourteen-day fasting, which will be followed by a mega indoor crusade, dubbed ‘Breakthrough Galaxy Night Vigil’. The event is designed to prepare and offer prayers for people as we entered the New Year, and to also prepare them for the months ahead.

In an interview with the Daily Observer, Rev. Christian Chimee, explained that he has been mandated by God to pray for the people of the country, be it Muslims or Christians. He explained that this forthcoming 14 days’ fasting, which will start Saturday, 14th January, 2012 is expected to run till January 27th 2012, to be followed by a mega night vigil in the country, dubbed ‘Breakthrough Galaxy Night Vigil’.

He continued; “We want to invite all church members to this events. The people need to be have victory but also need to have spiritual  preparations,” he added. He then called on the general public to join them in their forthcoming events stressing that this particular monthly fasting started in December.   Rev. Chimee said that the purpose of the event is to pray for all,  in order for all to shine and prosper in the coming years, maintaining that they are expecting different types of stars to continue to strive in their various positions.
