Student testifies in criminal caseFriday, February 05, 2010 Seedy Jarju, a 27-year-old student and resident of Sinchu Alagie, recently testified before magistrate Lamin George of Bundung Magistrates Court in the ongoing conspiracy to commit a felony and theft involving Lamin Sanneh and Salifu Gaye. In his testimony, he told the court that on the 27 of December 2009 in the morning while sleeping in his house, he heard the voice of one of his friends, Kaluki Jallow, who doubled as PW5 shouting ‘thieves!’. According to him, he came out from the house and saw PW5 chasing the thieves and he joined in the chasing. He said the accused persons suddenly stood and threatened to kill anyone who dared came near them but they were arrested and taken to the Bundung police station.
