Wednesday, October 21, 2009
The ongoing criminal case of fraud involving three men namely, Cosmas Ohams, Emmanual Obi and Alagie Manneh, on Monday resumed at the Kanifing Magistrate court presided over by senior magistrate Abdoulie Mbake.

They were arraigned and charged with criminal conspiracy to defraud and attempt to commit an offence. When the matter was called, the surety for the second accused, Emmanual Obi informed the court of his intension to withdraw as a  surety. His request to the court was granted by the presiding Magistrate. At that juncture, the police prosecutor cadet inspector Mballow also applied for a short adjournment on the grounds that the liquid involved in the case has been analysed by the experts and that the result is yet to be out.

The trio, according to prosecution, on the 25th September 2009 at Kairaba Avenue were said to have conspired by fraudulent means of offering to sell a product called A 6 activating power for printing of papers to one Fatou Njie, thereby committed an offence. The trio vehemently denied any wrong doing.
