Thank you, SoS Sambou

Editor,

Please allow me space in your widely read paper to say a big thank you to the secretary of state for Local Governments and Lands, our grandfather, Ismaila Sambou. The achievements he has registered so far is exceptional. He is indeed a very hard working secretary of state.

I remember some time last year when the president made an unexpected tour of government departments at the Quadrangle, he was very disappointed with some departments. However, he was very much appreciative of the Department of State for Local Government and Lands headed by Ismaila Sambou. I hope he continues this wonderful work.

He knows he has grandchildren whom he dearly loves and will not do anything unprofessional that will negative affect their future. He is aware that he is the steward of his grandchildren and when I say grand children, I mean every young Gambian. SoS Sambou has the interest of the state at heart and this is manifested in his daily actions. May God bless him and the entire nation.
