‘The Fatu Show’ to celebrate 4th anniversary in grandstyle

‘Fatu Show’, a popular TV show aired on the national broadcaster (GRTS) every Thursday and by far one of the most watched television series in the country, is staging two spectacular concerts as part of activities marking its fourth anniversary. The events dubbed ‘The Kids Show’ will be held a day after Koriteh while ‘Goudi Fatu Show’ is slated for September 8th respectively.


Both events are set to take place at the Jama hall Kairaba Beach Hotel. Conceived and brought to you by TV producer par excellence - Fatou Camara, the anchor of the aforementioned TV serie, the event is designed to showcase the talents of young kids in the country. As planned, the show will include games, dancing and quiz competitions and lots more.


The first show, which is dedicated to the kids, themed ‘The Kids’ Show’ will be a day after Eid-ul-Fitr (Koriteh) starting 3pm - 8pm, withtickets at D200 and free for one escort. Food and drinks will be provided by the Kairaba Beach Hotel at very reasonable prices. However, the show will also witness performances from Gambia’s finest artists such as -Gee, Bro K and the Humanity Band.


According Fatou Camara, the brainchild of the initiatives, the event will give students from public schools the opportunity to win 15 scholarships for Upper Basic Schools, courtesy of the Sponsors, Comium Gambia. The second show, she went on, dubbed ‘Goudi Fatu Show’, is slated for8th September 2012 at the Jama Hall, Kairaba Hotel in Senegambia starting 10pm, with tickets at D300 and D500 for a VIP ticket


Camara used the opportunity to announced that the guest artist on the night is Aida Samba, a rising star from the sister Republic of Senegal alongside our very own stars.
