One Omar Sowe was on Friday paraded before the senior magistrate of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, Abdoulie Mbake, for breaking into a house with intent to steal.

According to the particulars of the offence, on the 10th of July 2008 at around 5:00 am in London Corner, attempted to break into the house of one Hadijatou Jallow.

In his plea of mitigation he asked the court to forgive him as this was his first time to committed such an offence. He was convicted and sentenced to pay a fine of D1000 in default to spend 3 months in prison.
