The Presidents of Togo and the Phillipines,  Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe and Maria Gloria Macapagal Arroyo have felicitated the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh on the occasion of the recent Eid El Kebir, Christmas and New Year.

The messages read:
Your Excellency and dear brother, on the occasion of the Eid El Kebir, I have the great pleasure to extend, on behalf of the Togolese people, my government and on my own behalf, my best wishes of peace for Your Excellency and the brotherly people of The Gambia.

In commemoration of the “Feast of Sacrifice”, I pray to the Almighty Allah, the most merciful, to keep blessing Your Excellency and guide you towards the fulfillment of your noble mission.

Whilst extending once again my sincere best wishes for Your Excellency’s continued well-being and that of your family, please accept Your Excellency and Dear Brother, the assurances of my highest consideration.
