The much talked about event in town the ‘c Organized by the renowned entertainment and events management firm, Waka-J Promotions in collaboration with partners , the night  as planned will feature live performances by several artistes and the occasion will be graced and documented by the mega UK television company, BEN TV as well as the most fascinating  feature ‘Gambia Ne Dort Par’ meaning ‘ Gambia Never sleep’.

Some of the categories for this  year’s forthcoming mega event includes- ‘Best Gambian Artist male and Female category’, ‘Best Gambian Fashion Designer’, ‘Gambia’s Top Model’, ‘Best Gambian Fashion Boutique’, ‘Best Gambian TV Presenter’ based in The Gambia, ‘ Favourite Radio Station’, ‘Favourite Gambian footballer’, ‘Gambian Showbiz personality of the Year’, ‘Favourite Senegalese artist among a host of others. To add to BEN TV’s coverage of the event for Gambians in the Diaspora, especially in the UK, Senegalese TV T FM will also broadcast the much-anticipated rave.

The man behind the scene Waka Jagne, the Chief Executive Officer of Waka-J Promotions said, "This is gonna be a night to celebrate and reward what has been the very best of the entertainment industry of the Gambia. On top of the expected mind-blowing performances on the night, side attractions will include a Grand Tanibirr and special guest appearances by Manding  Morry, Pa Omar Jack, Khadija, sibling stars- Abou and Fafa and the Senegalese star-Oumie Sowe of Senegal and her Fly To Fly dancers.  Another rising Senegalese mbalax star -Assan Gueye is also expected to grace the event.
