Training of trainers for MDFTMonday, May 25, 2009 The Development Communication Support Unit (DCSU) in Brikama, Western Region, recently conducted a two-day training of trainers workshop for members of Western Region Multi-Disciplinary Facilitation Team (MDFT). The objective of the training was to prepare MDFI for the field step-down community strategic development planning exercise in forty-six Communities Driven Development Project (CDDP) intervention sites. Delivering his welcome remarks, Tombong Keita, community development facilitator, applauded the MDFT for their positive response and technical services support. He said the CDDP was community focused and as a result great efforts were being put in the area of capacitating the local structures. "The task ahead now is to agree on the participatory connection during community strategic development planning process,'' he indicated.
