Thursday, November 26, 2009
Mrs Fatima Jabbie of Fabecs Promotion, has expressed her profound sense of gratitude for staging the final and biggest modelling competition ever hosted by the Promotion, to be held in The Gambia on the 5th of December 2009.

She said that the competition which is being run throughout the whole year in the UK?will have its finals in The Gambia, adding that the models will be arriving in The Gambia on December 2nd. Jabbie revealed that the competition which consists of 40 contestants including males and females, aims to promote The Gambia in the tourism and modelling industries. She urged the Gambian people to come out in their numbers to take part in this event, for she noted it should be a big pride for the Gambian people. The proceeds of the event, she went on, will help Fabecs Promotion to donate the Jammeh Foundation for Peace and to help Gambian people in all means possible.

She further disclosed that President Jammeh is the chief patron for the event because it is so important to the Gambian people and that it is aimed at taking the country forward. Jabbie then revealed that one of Nigeria?s finest actors; namely Bob Manual Udokwo   will be coming for the event and that many  more surprises are in store for the big event.
