UTG Sports Committee calls on GFA Normalisation CommitteeTuesday, September 18, 2012 Representatives of the University of The Gambia (UTG) Sports Committee Monday paid a courtesy call on the Gambia Football Association Normalisation Committee at the Football House in Kanifing, Observer Sports has learnt. When contacted by this reporter, GFA media Officer, Bakary B. Baldeh, said the delegation was at the GFA to seek the advice and help of the football authorities in the structuring of a formidable university football team in addition to building a concept paper that will encompass all constituents of the UTG. The UTG Sports Committee organises a yearly football tournament among the tertiary constituents of the UTG, but wants to broaden it to cater for much participation in the national league. Welcoming the UTG delegation, Alhaji OB Conateh, chairman of the GFA Normalisation Committee,assured them of GFA's support for the development of football at the country's highest learning institution.
