UTG student appeals for help

A young Gambian is urgently in need of scholarship/financial assistance to enable him pay for his studies at the University of The Gambia (UTG). Momodou Touray was recently offered admission to study Accounting at the UTG School of Business and Public Administration, but unfortunately, is yet to register and resume classes due to lack of funds to pay his tuition fee.

Momodou, who is determined to obtain a university degree, told the Daily Observer that his family is financially handicapped, and cannot afford to pay for his university education. He is therefore appealing to government as well as well-meaning individuals and institutions to come his aid, so that he can fulfill his educational ambition and be better equipped to contribute his quota to national development.
