Please, tell the 22 July Committee that some of us, the contestants, are not happy with the way they did their selection. Firstly, I do believe that the committee should have published the names of the contestants for the whole Gambia to know that we are the people who have participated in such a very important national event.

Secondly, no first round publication was seen or heard of. So what happened? In every competition there must be a first round, and the media must be present from day one to the final. The president did his part, so the rightful person should be selected without favour. Transparency will be helpful in that.
