Wellingara youth awaits judgement dayWednesday, July 08, 2009
One Omar Sonko, a youth residing in Welligara will know his faith soon as the ongoing criminal trial involving him reached its climax yesterday.
The case is presided over by Magistrate Olajibutu Kayode. Sonko is accused of stealing the sum of D22,245 after breaking into the house of one Omar Ndow on April 26, 2008. He has pleaded not guilty. Police Prosecutor Corporal Sambo had earlier on the trial called four witnesses to back his case. The case was later adjourned to July 27, 2009. Author: by Salify M.Touray
