Whats On: Introducing Gam-Music Promotions

Gam-Music Promotions, was founded in 2008 by Bax  Saho, a Gambian born currently based in the UK.

The organisation main function is promoting Gambian music and musicians. It is 100% free of charge, and is currently not being sponsored by any organization. Since then, the organization provides an extra edge for any artist seeking for promotion, exposure, sponsorship and label signings. With their creative style of promotion, they have caught the eyes and ears of many people all around the world including Gambians around worldwide.

According to a press release reaching What's On, the organization promotes all type of Gambian music ranging from, hip-hop, rap, reggae dancehall, R & B, Ndaga, Kora among others. "We even got a special myspace page called 'GAM-MADE RIDDIMS' which is basically aimed at promoting only rid dims made in the Gambia by Gambian producers," the release added.

The release further went on "as to our promotions, we are world wide. The goal of our company is to unite all the Gambian artists around the world into a fist of power in the music industry,'. Being a small country, the organization also aimed to erase all the barriers of dislike and hate between our cultures, so that we can become one entity with love and respect for one another. 'Let us grow into a nation of one people and be proud to be called Gambians. Our Medias of promotion and communication are through our official website, Face Book and My Space.

Our Face Book group currently has over 1300 active members and they are always updated with news about music events, new artists and new releases so feel free to join in, help spread the news and get the latest info," the release added.
