Tomorrow Saturday 25th April will witness the second edition of the much talked about event, The Gamspirit Music Awards and Gala Dinner to be held at the Kairaba Beach Hotel.

The annual event organized by the Champion Sound Entertainment Production under the able leadership of the mighty Champion DJ Lamin Cham, is designed to award outstanding Gambian personalities who have made tendentious achievement in their respective field of endeavors. It is also meant to push the country's entertainment industry to the next level. This year awards is under the Chief Patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr Alhagie Yahya Jammeh. Artists will be awarded on various categories namely, "Male Artist of the year", "Female Artist of the year", "Group of the year", "Life Time Achievement award among various categories.

As this year event goes internationally, the main sponsors behind the event are the, Daily Observer, Gamcel, GRTS, Yarams Arts in UK, Onegambia based in Sweden, GRTS, The Points, West Coast Radio, city Limit, Unique as well as Paradise FM. It will also attract other international media outlets like the STV2 from Dakar, Senegal.

According to Cham, the event will be grace by Youssour Ndour, Titi, Mbaye Nderr, and Thione Secka among other renowned Senegalese stars.
