Whats on: Vision Promotion braces for "Queen of Companies 2010"

In a bid to showcase hidden talents in our soceity,Vision Promotion, an organisation comprising young talents, is currently gearing up for its ?Queen of Companies? beauty contest, slated for April 4, 2010.

The event which is scheduled to take place at the Jerma Beach Hotel in Senegambia, is meant to create a platform for the country?s finest models to showcase their skills in a thrilling atmossphere. According to Williams Brown, the president of Vision Promotion, the event will showcase those who are interested in establishing a conducive environment for the development of latent talents in our society. ?We also strive to provide the necessary assistnace to children from poor background or with disabilties in schools, so as to combat crime, abuse, social unrest, lifelong trauma, among others,? he said.

For Kumbale Goode, the Public Relations Officer of the organisation, Queen of Companies 2010, as the name depicts, is a nationwide beauty and brain competion that targets young girls from the ages of 18-26 years.

This, she added, being the first of its kind, is expected to be an annual event, adding that the competion is organised to promote and bring uniy, undertsanding among the different companies.
?Some of the proceeds from the event will be used to sponsor deserving children, who in one way or the other fall victim of circumstances as mentioned above.

This, she added will help to brighten the lives of many youngsters and also contribute to creating a better future for them. Ida Jange, the chief executive officer of the organisation, revealed that these individuals will promote companies on TV, the radio, among others, so as to allow the populace and people outside the country to know what their companies are invlved in. According to her, the event will be a showcase of African culture.
