Manneh is in dire need of financial assistance to allow him undergo overseas treatment. Sanna Manneh has been suffering from this heart disease since birth, according to a letter issued to his mother from MRC.

Ansumana Manneh and Nyima Camara, parents of the sick boy, appealed to the government, general public, philanthropists, and NGOs to come to the aid of the one-year-old boy to save his life. "This cardiac problem, is unfortunate that the MRC was not able to make exact diagnosis," the parents indicated.
