Who will help Fatoumatta Darboe?

Fatoumatta Darboe, a 5-year-old girl and a resident of Bakoteh is in urgent need of help to undergo an overseas treatment.


According to a medical report obtained from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) Fatoumatta was diagnosed as a congenital heart disease patient immediately after birth. “She has been compensated up to now and has followed the recommended treatment but she needs overseas surgical treatment, since this cannot be done in The Gambia,” the report added.


The report also indicated that on physical examination, the finding stated that mucous membranes were moist and well colored.“No Dedema, the CVs noted that the heart beats are normal and rythymic, pluses are strong and full, one Holosystolic, the murmur is defected occupying almost all the precordial area but best head in lower left sterna border and no thrill was present.


Her abdomen was soft no tenderness, no distended, no viseromegaly was present either but the bowel sounds were normal,” the report concluded. Anyone willing to assist Fatoumatta can contact on the following numbers: 4399802/ 3658204.
