Worship Allah to deathFriday, December 18, 2009 The Almighty and Glorified Allah said to his servant and messenger, Muhammed (P.B.U.H): “And worship your lord until there comes into you the certainty (Al- Quran 15:99) certainty here means death. The real meaning of this verse is: Do not abandon worship until you die. So he made the ultimate point of worship, the ultimate point of one’s life. The righteous servant of Allah, Jesus (P.B.U.H) said “And has enjoined on me Salaah (Prayer) and Zakah as long as I live ---“(Al-Quran 19:3!). Also the prophet (P.B.U.H) said: “verily, if the son of Adam dies, her deeds terminate---“by Muslim. So he made- “death”-the limit of his deeds terminate----that means, after fasting in the Ramadan a believe does, and should not stop fasting, for fasting will still be lawful in the whole year round in the form of fasting 3 days of each and every month, fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, and fasting on A’rafat Day. And even if the night prayers of Ramadan are gone a believer will not cease from performing them. How can he do that when Allah praised those who perform night prayers when he said: “Their sides for sake their Beds, to invoke their, lord in fear and hope, and they spend (charity in Allah’s cause) out of what we have bestowed on them. No person knows what is kept Hidden for them of joy as a Rew and for what they used to Do---“(Al-Qur’an 32”, 16-17). The prophet (P.B.U.H) said: “The most preferred class of prayers after the compulsory prayers is the night prayer ----“by Muslim. His state is as was described by Imam Ibun Al-Qayyim (may Allah shower his mercy oh him): They enliven their nights with worship In Submission to their lord Reciting (Qur’an), praying And Beseeching. Their eyes swollen by the Abundant flow—of their tears Like Heavy continues Rains In the Dreamful Night. And what Meeting With their Enemies They are Brave heroes Worship continues to be lawful and acceptable with all its conditions like: the glorification of Allah, Hajj and Unrah with all their nawaful, enjoining good, combating Evil deeds. So strive to maintain continuity in your worship according to your capabilities and bear in mind that some of the means to attaining stability in Allah’s religion and obedience to him are as follows: - 1. Asking for filminess in religion, for the Prophet (P.B.U.H) used to have many of such requests, especially when he sued to say: “oh Lord! Who manipulates our hearts, make my heart firm in your religion----“by At-Tirmidhiy 2. Patience, Allah has said: -----and those who Believe and Do righteous Deeds to them we shall surerly give lofty Dwelling in Paradise, underneath which Rivers fbow, To live there on forever. Excellent is the reward of the workers. Those who are patient, and put their Trust (only ) in their Lord (Allah)----“ (Al-Qur’an 29:58-59). 3. Learning from the righteous people, Allah has said: “And all that we relate to you (O Muhammed-(P.B.U.H) of the news of the messengers, is in order that we may make strong and firm your heart. Thereby---“(Al---Qur’an 4:120). 4. –Glorification of Allah and recitation of the Qur’an, Allah has said: “say (O Muhammed), the Holy Spirit (Gabriel) has brought it (the Qur’an). Down from your lord with the Truth that it may make firm and strengthen (the faith) of those who Believe ----“ (AL-Qur’an 16:102) 5. Seeking lawful knowledge and working according to it, Allah has said: “Allah will exalt in Degree those of you who believe and those who have Been Granted knowledge---“(Al-Qur’an 58:11). Al-Ubiriy (may Allah bestow mercy on him) described’ knowledge as follows” it is the sharp Indian sword, which can’t miss. That will strike any soldier you want it increases by giving it away abundantly and Decreases by keeping it to yourself. If you had tasted the sweetness of its flavour Your would pursue knowledge and put more effort If you follow these methods or some of them, then avoid the prison of the heart, which is disobedience. Avoid the emergence of evil deeds which is a trigger. Prevent the occurrence of a trigger so as not be an idea; if you can not do that then prevent an idea not to become. a) Passion;---> b) Exchanging eid greetings and congratulatory messages is Mubahah (Permissible); But if one congratulates you then you are obliged to reply. Sahaabas used to congratulate each other saying: Meaning: May Allah accepts from us and from you. c) It is Mustahab for one who goes out for evil prayers to eat dates in odd numbers, as was the Prophet (P.B.U.H)’s tradition. As it is also part of Sunnah to use a different road when coming back from Musahah. If someone happens to miss his Eid Prayer, he is not obliged to make up for it. Among the virtues to Eid, is to avoid illicit deeds. Some of the prohibited conducts during Eid celebration It is not proper for us to forget and ignore some of the important aspects of our religion because of Eid celebrations. Eid celebrations are not for those who put on new clothes but are for those who obey Allah, the praised one and fear the promised Day. Some of the prohibited deeds on Eid day are! 1. Abandoning prayers at mosques or some of the prayers because of sleep. 2. Wasting on the day of Eid celebrations 3. Adorning oneself by shaving beards 4. Wearing trailing garments. 5. Shaking hands with foreign women 6. Listening to songs and Musical instruments. 7. Drowsing into amusement that will lead to forgetting one’s worship, and will diverts one from obedience. 8. For women to throw away their hijab (veils) 9. Travelling to countries of polytheist is without any necessity or need fro that some people may extravagantly overload themselves with evil acts on a mistaken belief based on ambiguous interpretations that fasting two succession months of Ramadan as expiation of even the greatest sins. However the position is that the expiation of greater sins is through sincere repent as is the doctrine of Ahlisunnah wal Jama’ah. The prophet (P.B.U.H) stipulated for forgiveness and expiation through fasting, the avoidance of the greatest sins when he said: fasting two successive months of Ramadan is an expiation of whatever is between to promised him, like high ranks and powers of executing orders in the Minister is wife and endured it but in fact away from evil acts. Instead, Allah granted him full authority in the land, to take procession therein, as to when or where eh liked. Enjoyment whatever he liked from what Allah had made lawful for him in the form of: wealth, women and authority. Anyone who refrains from what the soul instigates for the sake of Allah, then in exchange for the lover of him, worship and repentance, he will get something that will surpass all the pleasures of the earth----“(from Al-Auwaidul hassan litatisrul Qur-an by As-Sa’diy P.P.197). That is why the Prophet (P.B.U.H) said “Verily you will never abandon anything for the sake of Allah without Allah giving you in its stead something better than that…”by waqiu and Ahimad so is there anyone who will approach and get this blessing? Oh you! With chanted hopes Oh my brother…oh my sister Indeed I have more to say in my heart but I will be content with the size of a necklace that just fits the neck and say: In the heart are deeds. And in you, is understanding. My silence and speech Is an explanation about them Oh Allah inspires us with righteousness and we seek refugee from our own evils. Praise be to Allah, firstly and lastly.
