Youth Matter: The truth

Why do the wicked move on, growing old and increasing in power?
They see their children established around them
and live on a good, peaceful, calm life.

Yet they say to God, 'Leave me alone! We have no desire to know your ways.
Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? (Job 21: 14)
But their prosperity does not belong to them. It is not in their hands.
It can be taken away at any second!
Job 21: 17 'Yet how often is the lamp of the wicked snuffed out?
How often does calamity come upon them,
the fate of God allots in his anger?

The wicked will live a prosperous life.
But how long will it last.
Though one may be prosperous in this life,
does not mean they will be prosperous in the next.

Yet one who seeks salvation in Christ
Will be prosperous in both this life and the next.
Jesus promises joy and eternal life,
But only to those who seek Him.
