Ports Authority head coach, Ebrima Joof alias Luke, wants his side to gun for a win when they take on the Abidjan club, ES Bingerville, in the first-league of CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round on Saturday at the Independence Stadium. The former Real de Banjul player is very much aware of home advantage and insists one can only progress in such competition when you jealously guide your home advantages.

Speaking to Observer Sports last evening at his Friendship Hostel camp, the optimistic coach said his team have been training on double shift (Morning and afternoon) ahead of the encounter and wants the good preparation to be translated into a reality.

"Except few injury worries, everything is going on fine. We have been in camp since last week, training twice a day. The players' responses have just been magnificent and we want to translate this into reality come Saturday," he said.

The former Ham Ham head coach is, for the first time, guiding a divisional club to such high-profile competition, but Luke is not wary of his lack of international experience.

"This is a challenge I want to face. For one to succeed in life, you must face challenges. And I am happy that I am doing well with the full backing and cooperation of my players and management."
