Ten-man Ports hold Biko

Friday, March 07, 2008
Steve Biko drew 1-1 with Gambia Ports Authority in their last night match at the Independence Stadium.

Modou NJie-Sarr gave the Ferry Boys an early lead in the 2nd minute before Alasana Camara cancelled out the goal in the 18th minutes.

Ports Authority played the final 15 minutes of the game on ten men after sending off of skipper Bun Gaye in the 74th minutes.

Last night tie, which was Biko's second match ending in stalemate, saw Ports Authority's played their first league match as they make their domestic league return after a premature elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup Championships last weekend.
