D1M bail bond for fraudsters

Principal Magistrate Moses Richards of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, yesterday granted bail to three fraudsters to the sum of one million Dalasi each, with one Gambian surety, who most have a landed property within the Kanifing Municipal Council.

The three fraudsters, Amadou Jallow, Saikan Amadou Bailo Camara and Saikou Trawalley, are charged with the offences of conspiracy and obtaining monies by false pretence.

According to the particulars of offence, on or about this year, 2007, the three intent to defraud one million, seven hundred thousand Dalasi and 55 million CFA from one Kemo Dibba Sey and Lamin Jallow.

They both pleaded not quilty to the charges. 870 Touray stood in for the IGP, while Counsel Lamin K Mboge, represented the accused.

The case continues on   17th October, 2007.
