The Gambia National Lottery (GNL), last Monday, launched a  new product known as 'Joni Joni' meaning 'scratch, win and get paid instantly' at a ceremony held at the Youth Monument, West Field Junction.

Dembo Fanta Bojang, managing director of the Gambia National Lottery, in his launching statement said the 'Joni Joni' product will create more job opportunities for Gambian youths.

"We are one of the few companies in the country whose employees are youth dominated. I wish to thank our esteemed customers for their continuous support in patronising our products," he added.

Fabakary Jammeh,  GNL's marketing manager said the launching of their new product marks another important step towards the country's socio-economic development.

"Gambia National Lottery does not only create job opportunities through PMU and Paris Sportif, but also has a jackpot of over D50,000 that one can win," he said.

Michel Gaye, chairman, Board of Directors of GNL expressed delight at the introduction of such a product. According to him, in this Joni Joni game, no one is a loser as all those who buy tickets will be put into a draw where the winner will be awarded a brand new car," he revealed.
