Bakary Jammeh, marketing manager of the Gambia National Lottery (GNL) has revealed
that the GNL will launch their new Joni Joni on Monday, December 10  at the Youth
Monument. He made this remark last Tuesday at a press briefing held at the Arch 22
Bar and Restaurant in Banjul.
According to him, since the company's existence some 13 years ago, it has been very
instrumental in creating job opportunities for Gambian youths and rendering social
services to many communities.
"We employ our staff indiscriminately with a view to contributing immensely to the
socio-economic development of this nation. However, the company remains upright in
fulfiling customer satisfaction by launching new products in the market very soon.
GNL is a company that brings employment to the doorsteps of every Gambian," he said.
He pointed out that the dissemination of information about their products is crucial
adding that the launch of their new products  is another important step in the right
direction.
For his part, Dembo Fanta Bojang, managing director of The Gambia National Lottery,
said the launching of the four new products into the market is to provide job
opportunities to a lot Gambians.
"However, our main target is to create more job opportunities as well as services
for the people. We also support grassroot football and health, among other
social services," he said.
He also noted that they are working relentlessly to spread their tentacles to
remote areas in the country noting that for the time being, they have already
opened regional offices in big settlements in both urban and big towns across
the country.
