Senior Magistrate EF M'Bai of the Brikama Magistrates court on Monday adjourned the impersonation trial involving Lamin Jarju of Lamin Village, Kombo North.

Mr Jarju was found in possession of a stamp as the Alkalo of Babylon, a suburb of Lamin Village in Kombo North, Western Region. Consequently, he was arrest by the police at Yundum Station for  impersonation.

Mr Jarju's defence counsel, lawyer Borry Touray, informed the court that his client was absent in the court. He added that he and his client had submitted a notice to the High Court that should be presented to the Brikama Magistrates court before the continuation of the trial.

He therefore urged the court to adjourn the case. Senior Magistrate M'Bai adjourned the case to Tuesday 21 February for continuation. Police prosecutor 413 Sanyang represented the IGP.
