Friday, June 06, 2008
ASP Sulayman Secka, the public relations officer of the Gambia Police Force, has revealed that the detained Oustass who identified himself as Musa Jabbi of Brufut Village, has been charged again for giving false information to the police.

The Oustass is alleged to have given false name to the police, which prompted the Jabbi Kunda family of Brufut to lodge complaint with the police, against the suspect, who is being held for suspected rape. The suspect has been identified as Musa Daffeh.

ASP Secka told the Daily Observer that giving false information to the police is a chargeable offence, contrary to Section 114 of the Criminal Code, Laws of The Gambia.

ASP Secka revealed that Musa Daffeh is a Bissau Guinean who was at one time residing in Brufut Village.
