'I will emerge victorious'says Ebrima Tamba

africa » gambia » bundung
Wednesday, January 23, 2008
Ebrima Tamba, APRC candidate for Bantaba/Bundung Borehole ward, has expressed great optismism  about his victory. There is no doubt, he declared,  that he will get 60-70% of the total votes cast in the polls come January 24, 2008.

In an interview with the Daily Observer, on Monday, at his residence in Bundung, Ebrima Tamba indicated that he has already won the massive support of his ward and promised to venture into more developmental projects during the next term.

According to him,  if he is elected to the Municipal Council,  he will focus more on sectors like health, rehabilitation of roads, environmental sanitation, education and community development projects.

Mr Tamba went on to say that he made a vibrant electoral campaign which will permit him to emerge as the winner in the January 24 Local Government elections. Conscious of the fact that there is a civic obligation for the electorate to exercise their fundamental right, he then called on people to turn  out in large numbers.
