Karmic Angels, a charitable organisation registered in The Gambia by a British couple, Stephanie and Alan, last Tuesday reaffirmed their commitment to reconstruct Busumbala Medina Nursery School and Buya's Day Care Center in Farato.

The couples made this revelation during a visit to the various projects they vow to render assistance to within the Western Region. At Busumbala Medina Nursery School, Stephanie and Alan declared that they will raise funds for the construction when they are back in England.

According to Alan, their aim is to promote quality education in The Gambia. He further disclosed that his organisation will construct 4 classroom blocks with proper water supply, toilets and provide computers amongst other materials to the schools.

The proprietor and headmaster of the school, Kebba Ceesay, revealed his intension to sacrifice his own land to build the school since there was no nursery school at the area. According to him, this move has been lauded by all in the community. He then described the couple as missionaries who are not only helping the schools, but The Gambian community at large.

Amadou Danso, a parent, also expressed similar sentiments. The couple also proceeded to Buya's Day Care Center at Farato. Speaking at the grounds, the headmistress of the school, Buya Bah, revealed that the school was established in March 2007. she revealed that there was no nursery school at the area. For her part, Stephanie disclosed their reasons for coming to The Gambia. She emphasised that their  aim is to help in the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals MDGs and reaffirmed their commitment to reconstruct the school.

The chairman of the school, Yusupha Dibba, also expressed his delight with the couple. In a similar development, the couple also promised the people of Bakoteh that they will construct four stand taps in their community.
