2 charged for shop breaking

One Saikou Omar Jah and Pa Omar Saho were on Monday arraigned before Magistrate Buba Jawo of the Kanifing Magistrate Court charge with shop breaking contrary to the laws of The Gambia.

According to the particulars of the offense, the duo on the 29 of January 2008 at Serrekunda market, jointly stoled the following items: 25 packets of maise, two Lady bags, all valued at D3,700, the properties of one Ousman Jawo.

Both accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against them. The case was then adjourned.

Sgt 870 Touray represented the IGP at the trial.
