D-Day for YJAG

The Young Journalists Association of The Gambia (YJAG), will be launched  at the  National Nutrition Agency's (NaNA) Conference Hall in Kanifing.

The launching ceremony is indeed a milestone in the history of Gambian Journalism, since YJAG is henceforth, one of the growing number of Journalists Associations under the umbrella body of The Gambia Press Union (GPU).YJAG is out to address issues of common concern among young journalists in The Gambia.

Neneh Macdouall Gaye, Secretary of State for Communication and Information Technology will be the Chief Guest of Honour. Other  Secretaries of State, Foreign Diplomats, Stake holders and other young writers associations in schools will grace the event.The master of the ceremony will be Ebrima Jaw Manneh, deputy editor in-chief at the Daily Observer.
