Verein Gambia Hilfe Gutersloh, a German charitable organisation established in The Gambia has recently inaugurated a Talla coffee shop in Manjai.

According to Brigitte Eickholt , coordinator of Verein Gambia Hilfe Gutersloh, the shop will be used as an information centre where people from different countries can exchange information and positive ideas on development issues.

"People can also get information about existing projects as well as create new aid projects. While there, cappuccino with cake or ice cream and coffee will be available at the centre," she said. She added that the coffee shop cost D90,000 and is one of the projects they have sponsored in The Gambia since their establishment in 1997.
