Singateh set for Independence tour..Bags another award

Barely a week after been awarded as the 2007 best selling solo album of the year, The Gambia's finest reggae dancehall star Singateh aka freaky Joe is set for independence tour  throughout the country  from today  the I5th of February, 2008.

During Singateh's tour, he is expected to perform alongside other upcoming  Gambian artists like Emperor Amiru, Lul Raa, Marthin Lurther King and Yankee among others.

This  tour is expected kick-off at  the metropolitan town of Farafenni  will  took him to other provincial town such as Soma,his native  Bansang and Basse

In a chat with What's On, Singateh  reffered the  tour  as  meeting the fans tour  .'I got new singles coming up which I want my fans be get use to. It will also give me the opportunity to record new video as well as  my upcoming album "Wonders& Signs" he said.

It could be recalled  that Singateh was last Friday  bagged  the   best selling solo artist  award by Gam-Spirit Music Award organised by Champion Sounds Promotions  at a  colourful ceremony held at the Kairaba Beach Hotel.
