Armed Forces sink Hawks

Friday, March 07, 2008
The Gambia Armed Force FC beat Hawks 2-0 in their  last night Week Three league encounter at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

Goals from the Darboe brothers - Buba and Abdou - aided Armed Forces to the victory and in effect made them the first side to win by at least a goal margin of two goals as the league season continues to suffer severe goal drought.

In another Week Three tie last night, Bakau United collected their first point of the season after a hard- fought 1-1 draw against Wallidan at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
