New school for Tawuto village soonWednesday, October 03, 2007 Tawuto village in Kombo North, Western Region, will soon benefit from a new nursery school, from Joint Hands Organisation in UK- an organisation formed by Gambians in UK. This was revealed last Saturday, at a meeting held in Tawuto village. Speaking at the occasion, Mr George Gomez, one of the initiators of the project encouraged the community to participate in the realisation of the project. Paul Victor Mendy, a representative of the village Alkalo, assured Joint Hands Organisation of the community's readiness towards the realisation of the project. He revealed that they have already made about five thousand blocks for the project to start soon.
