The seventh child sponsored by the First Lady of the Islamic Republic of The Gambia, Her Excellency Madam Zineb Yahya Jammeh to undergo a congenital heart disease treatment in Israel hasß returned to the country after a successful treatment.
Hawa Sawaneh, an eight-year-old girl was the seventh kid patient to benefit from the First Lady’s sponsored treatment programme under her Operation Save the Children Foundation Programme. The healthy looking child from Jalambang village in Kombo Central District of West Coast Region was received on arrival in Banjul by her parents, who rejoiced the return of their child in a normal state of health and were full of praises for the First Lady’s initiative.
Matida Jabbie, mother of the child thanked the First Lady of the Gambia and expressed gratitude to her for saving lives. She also thanked her for initiating and supporting causes that save lives and prayed for the First Family and the President, for the love they have for the people of The Gambia.
Hawa Sawaneh herself also thanked the First Lady for restoring her health and making her smile again. She also prayed for God to reward her for the unforgettable experience in Israel.
