Bakoteh Multi Purpose Center Holds First Graduation




The Bakoteh Multi Purpose Skills Centre recently held its first ever graduation ceremony held at the centre.

This came after three years of extensive learning by graduates in different skills such as tie and die, batik, soap making among others.

Speaking at the occasion, Aji Ndey Yassin Touray, Chairperson of the Centre, expressed delight with the commitment and dedication of staff and students in achieving this great success.

According to her, the skill centre has been in existence for more than fourteen years and it’s the first time they held such an important occasion. Madam Touray affirmed that skills acquisition is an important component in one’s life.

She advised the students to continue the course and serve as role models to other students and make the best use of the skills learned.

She also thanked the management and staff of the centre for a job well done, saying their doors are open for new intakes.

Mamudou Jallow, one of the teachers at the school also thanked the staff and congratulated the graduating students for their great success.
