The Bakoteh-based Ballack FC have booked their place in the finals of the Manjai Kunda Nawettan trophies following their double victories over Johannes FC and Giants FC in the semifinal of the league and knockout tournaments respectively. The knockout final is set to play today (Friday) against D’dolphines and the league final will be on the 7th October against Starlight.
Ballack FC over the weekend book their place in the knockout final after eliminating Johannes FC 1-0 in the semifinal encounter. Lamin Jarju converted a penalty to secure the victory for his side.
On Tuesday, Ballack defeated Giants FC 2-0 in the semifinal of the league tournament following a respectable performance. Babucarr Thomo’s brace in the 54th and 58th minutes was enough to give them all the needed victory.
Speaking in an interview with Observer Sports, the head coach of Ballack FC Sambujang Kassama was a quite happy man after having taken his side to both finals, something he described as “dream come true”.
