Cultural African Preservation (CAP), a foundation based in the United States of America recently presented learning materials to Sky Blue Nursery School at a ceremony held at Latrikunda German.

capSpeaking on behalf of the donors, Mariama Jabbie, a member of the group, gave a brief history of the group, saying the foundation is committed to promoting cultural literacy in African communities in the US.

She expressed the foundation’s resolve to preserve and advance African cultures throughout the world. According to her, their services include but are not limited to academic, tutoring, cultural literacy, training and crime prevention forums.

She expressed hope that the donated items will go a long way in making learning conducive for students in the school, noting that the aim of the foundation is to promote African cultures.

“I hope this donation will add value to the day-to-day affairs of the school”.

Receiving the items, Fatou Kujabi, a senior teacher at Sky Blue Nursery School, gave a brief history of the school, saying the school was established in 2006 with the aim of giving early education to children within their society and to promote nursery education to the highest level.

She hailed the US foundation for the move, saying providing education for children is crucial as it build a strong foundation for them as future leaders.
