Friday, January 04, 2008
Nu Chilly is another Gambian reggae star working to reach international stardom. He is currently in the United Kingdom, where he is working very hard on his new album called The Children.

Recorded at Mellow Mixed Studio in UK in collaboration with Hakim of Suns of Light, this upcoming album comprises eight-track sounds that can boast of high quality tracks.

In a chat with What's On, the young solo reggae star confirmed that the album is in the final stages and the promotion will commence soon.

"I thought it good to add some more tracks to give my fans good reggae vibes. All the tracks in this forthcoming album are of good quality. This is something really different and unexpected as it comprises hit tunes. This time round, I am coming in a more mature way," he assured.

"I have finished my first music video in the UK which was produced and edited by one Yankuba Jarju of Czonex.com?in collaboration with Hakim of Suns of Light," he said.

Nu Chilly is among the reggae dancehall star nominees for the upcoming Gambian Talents Promotions award night in collaboration with Saul Sounds Joluv Arts Entertainment to be held at the Kairaba Beach Hotel in Banjul.

"I feel proud to be in this wonderful initiatives. I want to thank all my fans and of course our Gambian promoters and DJs who are working very hard to sell the Gambian artists abroad. However, not all can be winners, so I will continue to show my respect to whoever may emerge winner," he said.

He commended Gambian Talents Promotions for their efforts in promoting the country's music abroad.
