J-Kelly Set to Drop Debut Album

A young talented Sierra Leonean artiste based in The Gambian, J-Kelly, is set to drop his first compact album on the 28th October, 2016 at the Elite Fitness Gym, along Senegambia strip.

Born Ibrahim Kuyateh Jnr, but widely known by his music sobriquet J-Kelly, the young talent dropped his first single “My Visa” which was well received by fans in the country. Since then he has not sat on his laurels in pushing his music to another level.

J Kelly is a young artiste with a dream to make music that will not only share his pain, joy and sorrow, but one that can help his listeners to understand and appreciate his work of art as a singer.

The former dancer, who gave up dancing for music, in an interview with What’s On, revealed that he has been in The Gambia for over ten years and did his schooling at the RVD J.C Faye Memorial up to high school level.

He said he is proud to have found his talent in music. “Music is my dream and it is the only art I can do better, for that I praise God,” he stated.

Binta Sabally, a promoter for J-Kelly, described the young artiste as a humble person and prayed that Allah gives him the strength and will power to excel in music globally.

J-Kelly’s two managers, Keneke Komba and Lee M Fofana, both expressed delight to be associated with the star, saying they saw something bigger and better in the young artiste.

“And we will work together to make sure his music reaches all corners of Africa and beyond. We are calling on fans and supporters to come out for the album launching to patronise their artiste” they appealed.
