Mayor Bah Lauds Gambians’ Endorsement of President Jammeh in December Polls

The Mayor of Banjul has lauded Gambians for endorsing His Excellency, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya Jammeh, Babili Mansa as the APRC flag bearer in the December 1 Presidential election.

mayor-bah-laudsThe Gambian leader’s endorsement as the flag bearer of the Alliance for Patriotic Re-Orientation and Construction (APRC), was presided over by the Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission, Alhaji Momar Alieu Njie and witnessed by the Vice-President and Minister of Women’s Affairs, Dr. Aja Isatou Njie-Saidy, Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Abdoulie Bojang, cabinet Ministers, National Assembly Members and other APRC militants across the length and breadth of the country.

In an interview with the Daily Observer at his Banjul resident, Alhaji Abdoulie Bah described the people`s endorsement of President Jammeh as a show of their love and loyalty to a leader, who cares for them and the development of the country.

He acknowledged that The Gambian leader is a determined and committed leader, whose integrity gave Gambians a positive image and future for the country.

Mayor Bah maintained that Gambians are fully aware of the development strides that the Jammeh administration has brought within a short period of time.

All those development, he went on, are indications that President Jammeh is on the right track in his quest to ensure a better Gambia for all those living in the country.

“Jammeh’s efforts in developing this country are noticed both nationally and internationally. Let me thank Gambians for their continuous support to President Jammeh. They will reap the benefit of their loyalty to him through his development projects in the coming five-years.” he stated.

According to him, Gambians will continue to stand by their endorsement and show full support to President Jammeh so that he can continue leading this country for good.

Nominating President Jammeh to serve another five-year term, Mayor Bah observed, means Gambians wholeheartedly accepted what his government has done or achieved in the last 22 years.

He described President Jammeh as a dynamic leader, whose priority is to lead viable development plans for the Gambia.
